Dr. Bob Culver - Board Chair
InterFace Ministries
Bob and Lynn began reaching international students in 1976-79 under ISI in Houston. After serving as dean of Grace College of Divinity, Bob realized his favorite gift is to reach the nations at our doorstep and rejoined ISI in Atlanta in 1981. Their local ministry, "Interface," and their unique bus ministry quickly captured attention on many campuses. Bob has a BS/Chem from the University of Missouri and M. Div and D. Min. from Fuller Seminary. Bob & Lynn have been married 50 years, enjoyed raising 3 daughters and have 5 grandchildren.
Anita Gaines - Board Secretary
Anita Gaines retired from the University of Houston in July 2019, accomplishing more than 40 years of service with International Student and Scholar Services. She served as Director there from 1994 until her retirement. Anita is on the board of the International Student Ministries Assistance, Inc. She has been active in ACMI and NAFSA for many years. Anita currently serves as coordinator of the NAFSA Christian Member Interest Group.
Dr. Daniel Lim - Board Vice Chair
Southern California Area Mobilizer and Staff Training and Development Coordinator
Born and raised in Malaysia, and himself an international student in Canada and the UK, Daniel has been serving among international students for 25 years. The majority of that time has been with International Students, Inc. Daniel is the Mobilizer and Staff Training and Development Coordinator for Southern California, and partners with local churches and ISM communities to advance holistic, Kingdom-focused engagement in ISM.
Randall Dyck - Board Treasurer
Consultant & Information Technology Leader
Randy’s life is focused on following and serving Jesus at work, at home, and in the body of Christ. HIs role as a consultant and information leader for Fortune 100 clients has taken him across North America and around the world. Randy has strong cross-cultural communication skills and a background in finance. He is also a faithful prayer warrior and longtime prayer partner for ISM. A native of Canada, Randy and his wife Betty now live in Queen Creek, Arizona.
Stephen Morris
Assistant Director of Outreach at The Chapel in Akron, Ohio
Born and raised in Akron, Stephen now lives there with his wife, Abby, and daughter, Naomi. Stephen oversees The Chapel's international ministry which seeks to build relationships with international students going to the University of Akron. He follows the news from multiple sources and enjoys helping others understand current events from different perspectives.
Dr. Robert Osburn
Senior Fellow, Wilberforce International Institute
Robert is the founder (2009) and was, until September 2020, the Executive Director of Wilberforce International Institute, an organization whose mission is to train college students, especially international students, to be redemptive change agents in their home societies and workplaces. He now serves as Senior Fellow. He speaks on comparative worldviews, Christians and academia, bribery and corruption, and nation- building from a Christian perspective. Bob and his wife Susan reside in Roseville, Minnesota, a suburb of the Twin Cities.
D’Ann Burke
ACMI Board Emeritus
D’Ann Burke founded the University of Houston’s International Friendship Program and directed it until 2006. She has been a frequent presenter at ACMI and in NAFSA where she served as its Community Section Chair. She has been active in ISM for over 50 years.
