Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • Live workshop times are 60 minutes and consist of several parts:

    Intro & Welcome (5 min)
    Presentation (25 min)
    Guided Discussion (10 min)
    Guided Application Activity (10 min)
    Open Q & A (10 min)

    Pre-recorded workshops will be 25-30 minutes long.

  • When you propose a workshop choose a topic that best relates to your overall workshop from the following list:

    Sharing the Gospel Across Cultures – Practical strategies and contextualized approaches for presenting the Gospel to and through international students.

    Cultivating Cross-Cultural Discipleship – Deepening faith and stirring spiritual growth in students from diverse backgrounds.

    Collaborating for Kingdom Impact – Wisely stewarding individual and organizational identity and resources while fostering partnerships across ministries.

    Strengthening Churches for ISM – Building vision and skill in for effective church-based engagement in international student ministry.

    Adapting ISM for the Next Generation - Learning about tech tools and tips for ISM with Gen Z.

    Engaging & Equipping Scholars – Spiritual formation, evangelism, and discipleship in the academic context.

    Celebrating Global ISM – Exploring ministry models and practices from ISMers around the world.

  • We want all conference participants to have access to every workshop. You can choose to pre-record your presentation for the online attendees or present live on Zoom AND do your presentation a second time at an in-person hub that you are able to join.

    Public hub locations will be listed on this webpage.

    Each proposal is reviewed by a committee. They will be begin to approve workshops in January.
